Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver MELINIO TRANSIT is an industry leader providing Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Services - NEMT. We actively seek compassionate, caring, reliable, and responsible professionals who excel at getting clients with mobility challenges to their destinations safely and on time. Our NEMT Operators expertly coordinate, prioritize, and execute scheduled transfers for their assigned routes while delivering professional and empathetic service that transforms lives daily. Key Responsibilities
Safely transport clients with mobility challenges to medical appointments and healthcare facilities
Operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles with specialized medical transport equipment
Coordinate and prioritize scheduled transfers with precision timing
Provide compassionate, professional service to clients with diverse needs
Assist clients with wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility devices
Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety protocols
Communicate professionally with clients, families, and healthcare staff
Requirements
Must be 23 years of age or older for insurance purposes
Must have a valid driver's license (Texas for Dallas positions, Pennsylvania for Philadelphia positions)
Must have a clean criminal record and no moving vehicle violations for at least two consecutive years
Pass Drug Screen, Background, and Motor Vehicle Report check (No Felonies or aggressive misdemeanors/ No Suspension in past 5 years)
Possess or be willing to obtain State NEMT Certification
Driving Experience: 5 years minimum
Defensive Driving Certification PASS (Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity) Certification
DOT Medical Transportation Certification
Must have or be willing to acquire a Business License
