2nd Shift: 5pm-1:30am (Monday afternoon - Early Saturday Morning)
3rd Shift: 12:00am-8:30am (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $20-$22/hour; Overtime: $30-$33/hour (A lot of Overtime Available)
Job Description
As a Cleanroom Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating machinery for ingredient intake and staging, verifying the correct use of ingredients and labels, and performing visual inspections on incoming raw materials. Your focus will be on supporting quality control checks during receiving activities and ensuring materials adhere to QA quarantine or release procedures.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor equipment supporting ingredient intake.
Verify ingredient identity, lot numbers, and labels prior to use.
Inspect raw materials for damage, contamination, or quality deviations.
Stage materials according to QA hold or release status.
Follow SOPs, GMPs, and food-safety requirements.
Communicate material issues to QA or supervision.
Support food-safety and traceability requirements without record ownership.
Monitor equipment performance and report issues.
Follow sanitation, hygiene, and safety requirements.
Assist with equipment cleaning during line changeovers.
Escalate safety or quality concerns as needed.
Essential Skills
GMP environment experience.
Cleanroom expertise.
Production and food manufacturing knowledge.
Materials handling and inspection skills.
Operate and monitor equipment proficiency.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6 months to 1 year manufacturing or food production experience.
Familiarity with GMPs and SOPs.
Medical assembly and manufacturing process knowledge.
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Falls, NJ.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
