Responsibilities
Perform layout, fitting, and MIG welding on mild steel components used for steel enclosures and diesel fuel oil supply tanks.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and other technical documents to determine welding requirements and fabrication details.
Use a tape measure accurately to lay out materials, verify dimensions, and ensure parts meet specifications.
Set up and operate MIG welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner for production work.
Fabricate and assemble components according to engineering and production requirements.
Utilize basic hand and power tools to prepare, fit, and finish welded assemblies.
Follow quality standards and perform visual checks on welds to ensure structural integrity and proper appearance.
Work effectively in a manufacturing environment and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Successfully complete and pass a MIG weld pressure test as part of the qualification process.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Mason, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
