Provides unsurpassed patient experiences through selection of eyewear, accurate measurements, ordering, and fitting the patient to fulfill all of their eyewear needs. Support establishing the practice as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community.
Major duties and responsibilities include custom fitting glasses, acting as a leader in optical acumen, taking and recording measurements, exploring the needs and priorities of patients, assisting peers with difficult or complex areas of product needs and prescriptions, anticipating problems, partnering with management as necessary, operating the point-of-sale system, committing to delivery date and time, taking ownership to achieve exceptional results on individual and team goals, presenting, celebrating and educating at time of dispense, taking pride in dispensary appearance, securing and protecting company assets, effectively collaborating with all doctors and practice staff, informing management of safety opportunities, demonstrating safe work practices, possessing a "can do" spirit and strong drive for results, adhering to company policies and procedures, working weekends and evenings in support of the business needs, fostering positive working relationships, consistently maintaining proper dress code, and performing other duties as assigned by Manager or as business needs.
Basic qualifications include a high school graduate or equivalent, active state optical licensure, strong customer service skills, strong basic math skills, and sales skills. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, and other software applications.
