Job Description:
Sign on Bonus Up to $2,500
Schedule: Full Time
Shift: Varies
Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Assists with treatments ordered by the provider under supervision.
Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations. Performs basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
Documents provider encounters with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions. Transcribes patient orders for laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
Provides patient education and explanations of risks and benefits. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to perform procedures and treatments.
Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions and medical procedures. Ensures compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
High School Grad or Equiv (Required)Basic Life Support
CPR Cert (BLS)
RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
EV Accredited Issuing Body, Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC)
EV Accredited Issuing Body, National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
