Job Description
Indotronix is seeking a Dimension Control Technician 2 in El Segundo, California. Work Schedule: 9x80. A High School Diploma/GED is required. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance is necessary. Must have the ability and flexibility to work any shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble jigs, fixtures, gauges, and tooling with tight tolerances
Plan work methods and sequences from design drawings or own layouts
Set up and use optical/measurement instruments for alignment and verification
Develop tooling concepts, holding devices, and shop drawings
Support fabrication processes and monitor quality standards
Troubleshoot and repair tooling and equipment as needed
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED with 2+ years of experience in tool building, machining, laser tracking, welding, or repair
Experience with 3D CAD tools (Siemens NX, CATIA, or similar)
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in shop/warehouse environments
Experience with fabrication tools and machines (saws, drills, mills, lathes)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
Flexible to work any shift
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment
Knowledge of maintenance systems (e.g., Maximo, E-Maint)
Experience with conventional machining (mill/lathe)
Forklift and overhead crane experience
Associate degree or experience in aircraft manufacturing
Knowledge of metrology and laser tracking systems
