Intern Position

The Intern position will provide support to the assigned department/functional work teams while gaining practical, real-world experience within a roofing manufacturing company. This role aids and supports day-to-day administrative, operational, and/or project-related tasks while learning about company processes, industry practices, and professional workplace expectations. The type of assistance and support will vary based on the assigned functional area.
Responsibilities:
Partners with team/department members to provide support and assistance with operational, administrative, research, and/or project-related tasks.
Supports the preparation of reports, presentations, spreadsheets, or documentation as needed.
Attends and participates in team/department meetings, training sessions, department activities, etc.
Performs assigned tasks and conducts research, data entry, or analysis to support department initiatives.
Assists with the coordination of activities, projects, events, or departmental initiatives.
Follows all established company and department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), procedures, and safety guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the departmental operations
Qualifications:
Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to commit to full-time summer schedule on-site at a Polyglass facility
Attends an accredited higher learning institution with coursework related to business operations is preferred
Previous relevant intern experience is preferred
