Overview
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) — Reports To: Physical Therapist / Director of Rehabilitation
Job Summary: Provides therapy services under supervision of PT. Delivers treatment programs, monitors progress, and assists patients in achieving independence.
Responsibilities
Carry out PT treatment plans for individuals and groups.
Provide therapeutic exercises and activities as directed.
Educate patients on mobility and assistive devices.
Document treatment and patient response.
Report changes to supervising PT.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree from accredited PTA program.
Current state PTA license.
Clinical experience preferred.
