We are seeking a highly skilled Metal Man to join our team. As a Metal Man, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques. You will work with a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, and copper, and will be expected to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Your work will be critical to ensuring the safety and functionality of our equipment and structures.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship
Experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in welding
Experience with CNC plasma cutting
Experience with metal fabrication tools and equipment
Experience with welding stainless steel and other alloys
Experience with welding in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and repair metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
