Truss Office Coordinator
A growing Central Florida Lumber and Building Materials Company is seeking a Truss Office Coordinator. The Truss Office Coordinator ensures that our customers receive Floor & Roof Truss packages in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor production schedules
Maintain effective scheduling practices
Complete and oversee delivery logs (electronic or manual)
Ensure implementation and practice of all policies and procedures as it relates to Truss Drivers
Develop efficient driver schedules for maximum profitability; schedule returning vehicles promptly for minimum driver down time
Responsible for auto accident reporting
Responsible for DOT compliance monitoring
Communicate clearly with customers to provide updates regarding product delivery
Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers at all times
All other duties as assigned
Experience Required:
Building materials experience preferred
Prior building materials scheduling experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Building materials product knowledge
Construction knowledge
High level of Microsoft Office proficiency
Organizational skills
Attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task
