EHS & Facilities Supervisor , you won’t just maintain systems—you’ll lead the infrastructure and safety programs that power critical site operations. Your leadership will directly support the production of technologies that help customers drive scientific breakthroughs and deliver life-changing solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
You will lead facility operations and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs for a dynamic manufacturing site—ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a safe, high-performing environment.
Lead and develop a team responsible for
critical facility systems
including HVAC, utilities, equipment maintenance, and infrastructure
Drive
EHS strategy and execution , ensuring compliance with OSHA, FDA, EMA, and cGMP standards
Partner cross-functionally to support
uninterrupted manufacturing operations
Champion
continuous improvement initiatives
that enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency
Oversee
risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions
across safety and environmental programs
Manage
vendor relationships, service agreements, and facility budgets
Participate in
new project reviews and process changes , ensuring safety and compliance are built in from the start
Lead
emergency response readiness
and participate in on-call rotation
A Day in the Life
No two days look the same—but your impact is constant. You might be:
Leading a morning review of facility performance metrics and EHS indicators
Coordinating a GMP-compliant maintenance strategy to prevent production downtime
Walking the floor to identify safety improvements or mentor technicians
Partnering with engineering on a new system installation or process change
Preparing for or hosting a regulatory or client audit
Keys to Success
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred)
and 5+ years of experience in
facilities and/or EHS , ideally in GMP or manufacturing OR in lieu of undergraduate degree, 7+ experience in
facilities and/or EHS , ideally in GMP or manufacturing environment.
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of
mechanical, electrical, and utility systems
(HVAC, water, compressed gases)
Experience with
BMS and CMMS systems
Working knowledge of
FDA, EMA, cGMP, and quality systems
Ability to read and interpret
P&IDs and technical drawings
Leadership & Execution
Proven ability to
lead teams, manage vendors, and drive accountability
Strong
project management and budget oversight
skills
Analytical mindset with a focus on
root cause and continuous improvement
Effective communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Additional Requirements
Ability to support
on-call rotation and off-hours needs
Physical ability to perform inspections and respond to facility issues
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between facilities as needed
