Our Global Data Analytics (GDA) team is the trusted analytics partner for Finance Operations, providing data-driven solutions across global service centers and functions. We are custodians of data and metrics definitions, applying scientific methods to large-scale transactional processes.
Were seeking an exceptional Business Intelligence Engineer for our FinOps Healthcare Data and Analytics team. Youll deliver engineering excellence in data visualization, develop pipelines and build analytics solutions. Youll identify, design and create automation solutions, using artificial intelligence (inter alia). As a key member of a global team of analytics professionals, youll be a major contributor to business and process outcomes in the area of Healthcare Finance Operations.
Key job responsibilities
-Support the organizations strategic business objectives, process outcomes and decisions by analytical insights
-Collaborate with business leaders and users to optimize data-driven business processes
-Provide reliable, accurate, timely reporting for operations activities and leadership decision making
-Design and implement complex, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines and models
-Collaborate cross-functionally with technology teams, such as data engineers and data scientists, to define and deliver BI solutions
-Build reports and dashboards using Amazon QuickSight
-Use advanced analytics techniques, such as statistical analysis and predictive modeling, to uncover hidden patterns, trends and opportunities
-Implement AI-powered self-service analytics tools
-Identify, evaluate, and implement automation opportunities, incl. AI technology; continuously enhance analytics while reducing manual effort
-Represent the BI function in business reviews and provide data-driven recommendations to business and process leaders
About the team
Global Accounts Payable and Global Accounts Receivable are in charge of all AP and AR processes across Amazons businesses and geographies. Global Data Analytics (GDA) provide data, analytics and insights to AR and AP. Our mission: "As trusted and business-focused analytics partners, we provide timely data, analytics, and insights across Service Centers (SCs) and global functions. We are custodians of data and metrics definitions. We apply science methods to large-scale transactional processes and use automation to improve efficiency."
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience
- 3+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
- 1+ years of developing automated reporting experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
