Shift Type: Part-time and Full-Time (Day, Weekend, Evenings, Overnights available)
What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
You don't mind getting a little dirty
this could include (but is not limited to) assisting the patient with activities of daily living such as providing assistance with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair), ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, and other household chores.
You don't have to be a gourmet chef but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen.
Our Best Team Members Are:
High school degree or G.E.D. certificate
Six months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in health care (homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) course.
Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
Have a valid driver's license and use an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
The Home Health Aide shall have successfully completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the state licensing laws for home health agencies.
Reliable transportation
A current CPR certificate is recommended
CNA license highly preferred
