Java/J2EE, Spring Boot & Spring Framework, RESTful Web Services, API Management (APIM), Production Support, Hibernate/MyBatis, SQL, JUnit/TestNG, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Angular/React/jQuery, OAuth2/SSO (preferred).
Job Summary

We have an immediate contract opportunity for a

Java/J2EE Developer

to join the

Production Support team

of a large healthcare insurance client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with

Java, Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services , and

API Management , along with solid production support experience.

This role requires working the

night shift

and supporting critical enterprise applications in a fast-paced, production environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
6+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE development experience
3+ years of API Management (APIM) experience

with strong

production support

background
Strong experience with:
Java, JEE, Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Integration, Spring Security)
Hibernate, MyBatis
RESTful Web Services, JSON, AJAX, SQL
Maven, JUnit, TestNG

Solid front-end experience with:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
JavaScript frameworks such as

Angular, React, or jQuery

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to write clean, efficient, readable, and maintainable code
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with

Spring Integration
Exposure to

Big Data technologies
Experience with security protocols and tools such as:
SSO
OAuth2
IBM WebSeal

Experience working in regulated environments (Healthcare preferred)
