Role Name: SAP BTP CPI Consultant
Location: Remote with travel to the offices as needed - King of Prussia, Pensilvannia. (travel expenses will be paid for the client)
JOB DESCRIPTION
A Senior SAP BTP CPI Consultant designs, develops, and manages complex integration solutions within the SAP Integration Suite, often leading modernization projects from legacy PI/PO to cloud-native architectures. They require 5-8 years of experience, specializing in iFlow development, API management, and Groovy scripting, with a strong focus on security (OAuth, SAML) and end-to-end integration across SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
*Design and Architecture: Develop high-level and detailed design documents for complex integration scenarios, including asynchronous and synchronous patterns.
*Implementation: Build end-to-end integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and configure adapters (OData, REST, SOAP, SFTP, IDoc).
*BTP Management: Configure SAP BTP subaccounts, connectivity (Cloud Connector), and manage API services.
*Migration: Lead efforts to migrate from SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration).
*Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance, monitoring for security compliance.
*Mentorship: Guide junior developers and define best practices for development, documentation, and testing.
**Required Technical Skills**
*Core CPI: 5+ years of experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
*BTP Knowledge: Strong proficiency in SAP Integration Suite (API Management, Event Mesh).
*Scripting: Proficiency in Groovy scripting or Java.
*Platforms: Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP SuccessFactors integration.
*Protocols: Deep knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and EDI.
