Experienced Orthodontic Insurance Coordinator

We're on the hunt for an Experienced Orthodontic Insurance Coordinator to help us manage the financial side of our multiple locations. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a big impact on the success of our practice while working closely with a supportive team of professionals.
As an Orthodontic Insurance Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits across multiple locations
Submitting and following up on insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement
Providing patients with clear financial information and addressing their insurance questions
Reviewing and adjusting patient accounts to resolve discrepancies
Coordinating payment plans with the financial team
Working with practice managers and staff to resolve billing issues
Utilizing Insurance AI Tools to streamline claims processes
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
1+ year of experience in orthodontic insurance coordination (multi-site preferred)
Strong knowledge of dental or orthodontic insurance, billing, and coding
Strong excel skills
Experience working with various insurance companies and plans
Excellent communication skills
you can explain complex insurance terms in simple language
A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency with practice management software and insurance claim tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel to partner practices when needed
