Description
Responsible for overseeing the Technical Facilities Management at Kent Science Park. This role provides close management of the technical supply chain and engineering and technical support to the site and FM team. The Technical Services Manager will be proficient in their discipline and must work across a variety of interrelated work streams.

Solid understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, L8, LOLER, PUWER, IPAF, PASMA, CDM, and High Voltage distribution.
Demonstrable understanding of building engineering, technical services, and maintenance, typically in high-quality commercial office property.
Delivery of BMS and Building optimisation programme.
Knowledge of working at height, confined spaces, pressure systems and substantial knowledge of operating, maintaining, and HVAC systems.
Excellent organisational skills & strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels.
Able to use own initiative.
Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Delivery of identification process for opportunities of condition-based maintenance.

Experience and Salary
Level of Experience / Certifications:
Demonstrable understanding of building engineering, technical services, and maintenance, typically in high-quality commercial office property.
Solid understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, L8, LOLER, PUWER, IPAF, PASMA, CDM, and High Voltage distribution.
Knowledge of working at height, confined spaces, pressure systems and substantial knowledge of operating, maintaining, and HVAC systems.
Computer literate; able to create spreadsheets, presentations and write logical, succinct, and persuasive reports.
Lead FM technical delivery across a portfolio.
Client and tenant engagement for Optimisation and asset modernisation programmes.
Technical problem solving and strategic planning.
Relevant Engineering qualification or experience.
Relevant professional and/or technical qualification or membership IWFM/ NEBOSH/ IOSH.
