We are currently seeking a Permanent Tax Manager to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our company's tax strategy, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and optimizing our tax liabilities. You will also guide and mentor junior staff members to ensure they understand and adhere to tax regulations and procedures.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
Manage the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant tax laws.
Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return and state tax returns.
Conduct complex tax research and prepare tax memorandums dealing with a wide range of corporate, partnership, and consolidated tax issues.
Coordinate audits by various taxation authorities.
Negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues.
Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.
Coordinate outsourced tax preparation efforts.
Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.
Maintain tax balances on general ledger.
Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA certification is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
Extensive understanding and experience with Tax Preparation, Tax Compliance, Corporate Tax, Tax Returns, Tax Research, Tax Accounting, and Tax Advisory.
Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks.
Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
Analytical skills with detail orientation.
Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
