Surgery Scheduler - Heart Consultants

Infirmary Health - - Responsibilities: Schedules cases and pre-registers patients interacting closely with surgeons, surgeon's office staff, anesthesia and pre-surgery nurses.; Schedules cases correctly and coordinates according to scheduling guidelines.; Follows up with physician and/or physician office staff with scheduling conflicts, issues, concerns.; Enters appropriate scheduling information into physician's calendar.; Performs telephone triage to determine patient needs by documenting patient's needs to appropriate staff and advising patient on appropriate instructions.
