
Legal Administrative Assistant

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to support our legal team with a wide range of administrative, document management, and compliance-related tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Electronically file state and federal documents (e-filing) in a timely and accurate manner
Serve as DocuSign administrator, managing document execution workflows
Prepare and process expense reports
Coordinate and manage travel arrangements for attorneys and staff
Redline and proof legal documents for accuracy and consistency
Draft engagement letters and other routine legal correspondence
Create and manage ShareFile folders and document sharing processes
Convert documents to Word format and clean/edit formatting as needed
Save and organize documents within iManage (or similar document management systems)
Assist with billing processes, including time entry and invoice support
Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and track important deadlines
Prepare and update tables of contents for legal documents
File documents with the South Carolina Secretary of State and other regulatory authorities
Publish legal notices in accordance with applicable requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Familiarity with legal document management systems (e.g., iManage) is a plus
Experience with e-filing systems and legal administrative procedures preferred
