They assist in the treatment and management of patients with common pulmonary conditions, such as asthma, COPD, and pneumonia. CRTs administer respiratory treatments, monitor equipment, and educate patients and families on the proper usage of respiratory therapies and devices.Essential Work Functions:Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTsExamine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disordersPerform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samplesAdminister respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapySet up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rateObserve and rec
