The Grounds Supervisor supervises work activities of County Grounds Maintenance Workers and inmate labor associated with the operation maintenance and repair of County grounds and facilities with responsibility for training employees in the maintenance of grounds, parking area, green space and related areas.

Required Education & Experience
EDUCATION:
Associate's degree from a recognized college or technical school with major of study in horticulture, floriculture or landscape management.
EXPERIENCE:
Five years of experience as a supervisor of more than six employees performing horticulture, floriculture or landscape work, experience working with individuals in a correctional setting is desirable or any combination of education, skills and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
CERTIFICATION:
Valid NH Driver License required. May be required to obtain a supervisory Commercial Pesticide Application License from the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
A drug screen & criminal background check will be required of all conditional hires.
