Accountabilities
In this role, you will own the strategic direction and lifecycle management of pharmacy automation systems, ensuring alignment between business goals, technical execution, and customer outcomes.
Define and evolve the multi-year system product vision and roadmap for pharmacy automation platforms
Translate business, operational, and technical requirements into prioritized product outcomes and investment decisions
Lead buy-vs-build evaluations, vendor assessments, and architectural direction decisions
Manage portfolio prioritization across competing initiatives using outcome-based frameworks
Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, architecture, quality, operations, and external partners
Oversee governance processes, ensuring system reliability, compliance, quality, and risk management standards are met
Guide lifecycle planning, including legacy system decommissioning and migration strategies
Engage with stakeholders to communicate roadmap progress, trade-offs, and system performance insights
Lead customer and user discovery efforts to validate needs and refine product direction
Mentor and support product managers and system leads while advancing organizational product capability maturity
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in product leadership, system ownership, or platform strategy, combined with strong technical fluency and the ability to operate at an executive stakeholder level.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
10+ years of experience in product management, system ownership, or technical platform leadership roles
Proven track record of leading complex, enterprise-scale systems or automation platforms
Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through cross-functional alignment
Experience in healthcare, pharmacy automation, or highly regulated environments preferred
Strong understanding of system architecture, lifecycle management, and governance frameworks
Analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to define measurable success outcomes
Experience with data-driven tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Power Query, SIMIO preferred)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex system concepts for diverse audiences
Demonstrated leadership capability in mentoring and developing product talent
