Overview

We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager to join our on-site team in La Porte, IN. This is a high-impact role supporting manufacturing and business operations, with a strong emphasis on Power BI development, analytics, and business process improvement.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with operations, interacting with production teams, and building data-driven insights that influence business decisions in a collaborative environment.

On-site presence is required.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support operational and executive decision-making

  
  


• 
  

  Partner with production and manufacturing teams to identify reporting needs and translate them into Power BI analytics solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Manage and optimize ERP and related business system processes

  
  


• 
  

  Analyze business and operational workflows and recommend data-driven improvements

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation

  
  


• 
  

  Translate business requirements into technical solutions and reporting frameworks

  
  


• 
  

  Support data integration, reporting standards, and KPI development across the organization

  
  


• 
  

  Provide advanced data analysis and ad hoc reporting to support operational initiatives

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives

  
  

This is a hands-on technical, analytical, and reporting-focused role requiring direct engagement with both business users and manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications

• 
  

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related technical field

  
  


• 
  

  Strong Power BI development experience (dashboard creation, data modeling, DAX, and report optimization)

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working with business data, reporting solutions, and analytics platforms

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in business/process analysis

  
  


• 
  

  Advanced Excel skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to clearly articulate past responsibilities, reporting solutions built, and project impact

  
  


• 
  

  Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

  
  

Preferred Background

• 
  

  Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in a manufacturing environment

  
  


• 
  

  Prior Business Systems Analyst, BI Developer, or similar role

  
  


• 
  

  Exposure to project management methodologies

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working with data visualization and reporting tools in operational environments
