Salary: $100,000 - $118,000 DOE


Overview


Our firm is seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Consultant to support a client’s financial planning and analysis function during a period of transition. This individual will play a key role in ensuring continuity across planning, forecasting, and reporting activities while delivering timely financial insights to leadership.



Key Responsibilities


Financial Planning & Modeling



  • Maintain and enhance financial and operating models, including budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Support recurring planning cycles, monthly close, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Identify financial risks and variances, providing proactive solutions


Reporting & KPI Management



  • Prepare and deliver financial reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics

  • Provide visibility into business performance and trends


Analysis & Strategic Support



  • Analyze revenue, expenses, and profitability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and support special projects with actionable recommendations

  • Assist leadership in data-driven decision-making


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Partner with business leaders to gather and validate financial and operational data

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and data integrity

  • Work with internal teams to support financial systems and reporting needs


Systems & Tools



  • Utilize platforms such as Salesforce and NetSuite to extract, analyze, and model financial data

  • Support ongoing improvements to financial systems, reporting tools, and data processes



Qualifications



  • 5+ years of FP&A experience, preferably within SaaS or recurring revenue environments

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite reporting and data extraction

  • Ability to quickly ramp up and operate independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience supporting executive leadership
