Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000 (depending on experience)

We are representing a growing company in Indianapolis that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This role is perfect for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on work with daily accounting functions, supporting month-end close, and contributing to the overall accuracy of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance


• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes


• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions


• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management


• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies


• Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed


• Collaborate with senior accountants and finance leadership on special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• 2–4 years of accounting experience


• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices
