Location: Fully Remote - ideally within the Greater Fort Wayne, Indiana area
Salary: $165,000 - $185,000
Position Overview of the Revenue Manager
We are seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to lead and execute the full revenue accounting and order-to-cash lifecycle for a rapidly growing, EBITDA-positive company. This Revenue Accounting Manager will be a hands-on collaborator who partners cross-functionally while building scalable processes in a “mature startup” environment.

Core Responsibilities of the Revenue Accounting Manager
- Own the end-to-end revenue accounting and order-to-cash processes
- Partner closely with Sales, Client Services, Engineering, and IT to ensure data accuracy and process alignment
- Oversee the flow of engagement and performance metrics into NetSuite for billing and revenue recognition
- Lead billing, collections, and revenue recognition activities in accordance with ASC 606
- Manage a small team
- Review and interpret customer contracts to ensure proper accounting treatment
- Evaluate, improve, and scale revenue processes, systems, and internal controls
- Remain actively involved in execution, rolling up sleeves as needed
Ideal Profile for the Revenue Accounting Manager
- Proven experience owning revenue accounting and order-to-cash at a private company
- Strong cross-functional communicator with the ability to partner across Sales, Product, and Engineering
- Solid working knowledge of ASC 606; industry-specific experience not required
- Prior people management experience with a hands-on leadership approach
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- CPA strongly preferred; public accounting background a plus
- Curious and forward-thinking, with interest in automation and AI-driven process improvements
