Injection Molding Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Injection Molding Technician responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining injection molding equipment. This role ensures production efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety and documentation standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and tear down injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
Perform routine maintenance on machines and molds to ensure optimal performance
Adjust machine parameters to maintain product quality and maximize production efficiency
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to molds, tools, and equipment
Ensure molded products meet specifications, quality standards, and production timelines
Generate, maintain, and update run documentation for traceability and repeatability
Draft, execute, and document mold validation processes
Upload, retrieve, and manage machine programs from equipment and network systems
Collaborate with Production, Quality, R&D, Engineering, and Marketing teams
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company standards
Complete required documentation such as setup sheets, routing forms, and timesheets
Communicate production issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions with supervisors and support teams
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in injection molding or related manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge of injection molding (IM) codes and processing parameters
Experience with process control documentation and setting sheets
Ability to create and maintain machine settings and process parameters
Familiarity with Ranger Robot programming is a plus
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
