Responsibilities and Duties In this role, you will perform personal care activities that assist clients with activities of daily living, including (but not limited to): Assisting with transferring/mobility throughout the home Light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, bathroom cleaning, bed linens) Preparing meals and snacks Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments Bathing, showering, dressing, shaving Medication reminders Assisting with prescribed range-of-motion exercises Dementia care Companionship activities (reading, music, puzzles, etc.)
Qualifications and Skills High school graduate or G.E.D. preferred Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required Must pass a background check CNA, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred
