Team Leader Position
A team leader is someone who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture, and has a service-oriented heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, possess a strong character, take initiative, and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our team leaders are responsible for supporting the senior management in executing daily operations and holding team members accountable for each component of operational excellence and our service recipe. The two main areas of focus for a team leader are completing tasks to make the restaurant run effectively and training/developing team members. Team leaders lead by example and set the tone for others to follow.
Type of position: Full-time and part-time

Responsibilities of the team leader:
Participate operationally in daily activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
Offer immediate and respectful response to guest needs
Help in training new employees, set the tone for change, and act as a role model for our team.
Be a friendly and encouraging team player
Open and/or close, lead changes, keyholder
Count drawers and finalize the day
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Requirements and qualifications:
Smile
Make and maintain eye contact
Speak with enthusiasm
Establish emotional connections with guests
Reliable transportation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to serve team members
Strong commitment to superior customer service
Ability to manage team member behavior and performance issues
Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
No prior experience as a shift leader, team leader, supervisor, team captain, restaurant manager, assistant restaurant manager, but preferred.
