About the Opportunity – Accounting Specialist
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities – Accounting Specialist

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and customer billing


• Perform general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries


• Support month-end and year-end close activities


• Assist with inventory accounting, cost tracking, and variance analysis


• Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records


• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies

Qualifications – Accounting Specialist

• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting


• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting


• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills


• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines


• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
