Shipping And Receiving Associate

The Shipping and Receiving Associate supports a busy warehouse operation by staging materials, managing inventory in SAP, and ensuring accurate and efficient movement of parts through the facility. This role plays a key part in keeping production running smoothly by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment in a clean, organized, and safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities

Stage materials to support ongoing production and assembly activities.
Input and maintain accurate inventory and shipping data in SAP.
Stock parts on shelves in an organized and efficient manner.
Pick parts from shelves according to shop orders to prepare them for shipment or production.
Locate and move parts and part carts throughout the warehouse as needed.
Read and interpret shop orders and part drawings to ensure correct parts are selected and processed.
Box and pack parts securely for shipment, ensuring accuracy and protection of materials.
Use RF scanners to pick and track orders and update system records.
Operate pallet jacks to move materials safely within the warehouse.
Support general warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Essential Skills

At least 1 year of warehouse or production experience using computer software.
At least 1 year of production or warehouse experience.
Ability to read and understand shop orders.
Ability to recognize and interpret basic part drawings.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs safely and repeatedly as needed.
Experience with order picking and packing in a warehouse environment.
Ability to use RF scanners for picking and inventory tasks.
Ability to operate a pallet jack safely.

The warehouse is very clean and well-organized, with roughly 75 people working on the floor. Workstations are spaced out generously, providing plenty of room between each work area. Most tasks are performed independently or with one other coworker, allowing for focused, efficient work. The role involves the use of SAP for data entry, RF scanners for picking and inventory, and pallet jacks for moving materials. The position is on first shift in a safe, modern facility. The dress code typically includes jeans and steel-toe footwear to support comfort and safety on the floor.
This is a Contract position based out of Davenport, IA. The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. This is a fully onsite position in Davenport, IA. This position is anticipated to close on May 10, 2026.
