About the Role
You will play a key role in developing Skydio’s next‑generation workplace — translating a bold, engineering‑and‑customer‑first vision into a physical environment that accelerates how we build and deploy flying robots.

This role is responsible for turning workplace strategy and design direction into clearly scoped, well‑managed, and successfully delivered projects. Reporting into the Head of Workplace Experience, you will help drive execution of facilities related projects end‑to‑end — from early requirement scope through build‑out and delivery.

You will be part of:

Bring Skydio’s HQ and vision to life

You will be program manage the build-out of a deeply technical, highly flexible workplace designed for hardcore engineering and real‑world customer impact

Help create an environment that is dynamic and reconfigurable — where teams, hardware, and testing setups can rapidly evolve alongside our products

Ensure the space visibly reflects our values and culture through thoughtful moments found throughout the office

Translate technical needs into physical environments

Work directly with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to understand requirements for labs, testing environments, and infrastructure

Convert those needs into actionable scopes, layouts, and project plans

Partner with architects, contractors, and vendors to build environments that support the teams needs

Program manage complex, multi‑disciplinary build‑outs

Own project planning, scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and execution across multiple concurrent workstreams

Coordinate across internal stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, IT, leadership) and external partners

Drive projects from concept through completion with a high bar for quality, speed, and cost discipline

Create a customer‑obsessed environment

Help incorporate real‑world customer environments into the workplace (e.g., testing scenarios, training environments, simulation spaces)

Ensure the workplace continuously reinforces the impact of our products and the customers we serve

Support spaces for customer demos, training, and immersive experiences that showcase Skydio’s technology end‑to‑end

Deliver with rigor and attention to detail

Build and manage detailed scopes of work, budgets, and timelines

Track progress, resolve blockers, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery

Maintain a high operational bar across vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders

How You’ll Operate

Customer‑obsessed:

You build spaces that reflect and serve the real‑world environments our customers operate in — not generic tech offices

Maniacally pragmatic:

You prioritize what works, iterate quickly, and make tradeoffs to keep projects moving

Humble and hands‑on:

You’re willing to dive into details, solve problems directly, and lead from the trenches

Engineering‑first mindset:

You understand that the workplace is a tool for building world‑class products — and optimize for speed, iteration, and technical excellence

You drive clarity, alignment, and execution across ambiguity and multiple stakeholders
