Shipping And Receiving Coordinator

PacAero Agawam is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping And Receiving Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and kitting of materials for production. This role will report to the Logistics Supervisor and play a key part in ensuring accurate material flow, inventory integrity, and on-time support to production.
As part of our continued growth and transition to a more structured control environment, this role will support compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls, including clear separation of responsibilities across purchasing, receiving, and inventory transactions. This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment, requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability.
Schedule: Full-time, onsite in Agawam, MA, MondayFriday
Responsibilities
Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and inspect for damage or discrepancies
Accurately record receipts in ERP system (Global Shop, transitioning to ABAS)
Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with company and customer requirements
Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight) to ensure timely deliveries
Maintain all required shipping and receiving documentation
Maintain accurate inventory through transactions, cycle counts, and audits
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and traceability of materials
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Support inventory accuracy during ERP transition and ongoing system updates
Pick and kit materials for production jobs based on work orders
Ensure kits are complete, accurate, and delivered on time
Coordinate with production and planning to prioritize urgent jobs
Return unused materials and maintain accurate system records
Perform duties in alignment with SOX compliance requirements, including separation of duties
Execute assigned responsibilities within shipping/receiving and/or inventory functions while maintaining proper controls
Ensure all transactions are accurate, documented, and auditable
Support internal and external audits as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all company procedures related to quality, compliance, and traceability (ITAR/DFAR)
Support continuous improvement efforts related to material flow and ERP usage
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, or warehouse operations (manufacturing preferred)
Experience with ERP systems required (Global Shop, ABAS, or similar systems preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow structured processes and compliance requirements
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems)
Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to be trained)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
Use of material handling equipment and shipping tools
Regular interaction with production, purchasing, and operations teams
