Assembler
Join our dynamic team as an Assembler and be an integral part of creating high-performing products for defense and commercial wireless communications. You will work closely with our Assembly Team to ensure products are assembled following our quality management system guidelines.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate proficiency in necessary common and technical knowledge areas required for the position.
Assemble electronic assemblies, subassemblies, RF modules, and systems using standard measuring tools and techniques, following work orders and visual instructions.
Perform assembly operations such as wire termination, installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, relays, transformers, heatsinks, fans, amplifier covers, or other mechanical/electrical components.
Solder components under a microscope, adhering to IPC-A-610 (class 3) standards.
Perform quality control inspections on production units for build accuracy according to assembly drawings.
Rework units from Engineering and test, and create/communicate corrective actions on PCB assemblies when errors are detected.
Essential Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Proficient in measuring size and dimension using calipers and interpreting bar graphs.
Ability to translate and understand assembly drawing instructions.
Experience using hand tools such as torque wrenches, cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and soldering irons.
2-3 years of electronic assembly and soldering experience.
Ability to work with assembled printed circuit boards containing surface mount components as small as 0402.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with crimping, cable, and harnessing, and chassis wiring skills.
Ability to identify electronic components and properly orient them into a circuit board according to polarity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
ASQ certification and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma are advantageous.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
