Fabrication Technician
Our client, a leader in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fabrication Technician to join their team. As a Fabrication Technician, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process, supporting the production line and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Fabrication Technician
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Pay Range: $23.00/hr
Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm and Friday 6am-12pm
What's the Job?
Operate and set up automated and manual cutting machines to process metal materials efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and other measuring tools to ensure precision.
Manage multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining high productivity and safety standards.
Perform quality control checks, including verifying material dimensions, angles, and part counts.
Move, deburr, and prepare finished parts for the next stage in the manufacturing process.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 1 year of experience in cutoff or metal fabrication work.
Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools, grinders, and tape measures.
Strong physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
Excellent attention to detail and focus on efficiency.
Relevant credentials: 100042, 100069, 100065, 100067.
