Assembly Operator II - 1st Shift
The Application Tooling Division of TE Connectivity is currently seeking Assembly Operator II candidates to join our Hand Tool Assembly team. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:00pm. Responsibilities include performing assembly of basic and complex hand tools, monitoring operational quality of systems and equipment, troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions to eliminate problems, documenting all inspection, maintenance and repair work as required, assessing product needs in accordance with customer, measuring, examining, and testing completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
Qualifications and experience: High School Diploma or GED required. At least 3-5 years experience in related field (machine operator, assembler, etc.). Must have the ability to disassemble and re-assemble various types of mechanical parts and basic understanding of troubleshooting techniques. Should have basic understanding of blueprints and experience with precision measuring instruments. Requires a mechanical skill sufficient to visualize and assemble equipment utilizing sectional blueprints and be able to condition parts and working mechanism to permit the equipment to produce a product to engineering specification.
Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $22.00 - $32.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total compensation = base salary + incentive(s) + benefits.
