JSG is seeking a motivated Mechanical Assembler to play a vital role in assembling high-reliability mechanical components and subassemblies used in cutting-edge applications. This is a 1st shift position for our client located in Hauppauge NY Pay $21 to $23/hour Required Skills 2 to 3 years of hands-on mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting Ability to interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions Proficiency with hand tools, fixtures, and basic measuring equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team Nice to Have Skills Experience in aerospace, electronics, or medical device manufacturing Familiarity with troubleshooting and performing minor rework Basic understanding of assembly equipment and process optimization Other Requirements Must be a US Citizen and able to provide documentation for I-9 verification Successful completion of background checks and pre-employment drug screening Flexibility to work occasional overtime, with hours typically around 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving assembly tasks and use of various production tools and equipment Johnson Service Group, Inc.
