Vehicle Aide - Transportation Special Education
Position: Vehicle Aide - Transportation Special Education Regular School Year Responsibilities: To assist special needs students on school vehicles. Vehicles transporting students may include handicap/wheelchair vehicle, 16-passenger, and 24 passenger-buses. The vehicle aide ensures students are loaded onto the vehicle safely, are secured in their seats, and closely monitored. The aide also ensures that students have left the vehicle safely at the completion of the route.
Qualifications: School bus aide experience, a plus. High School diploma; required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Pay Scale: $16.50 per hour - Ten (10) month position - District school year calendar
