Job Title
This position will report to an Associate Manager on the Aerospace Vehicles Team assigned to the ADP Production Operations Ground and Flightline Operations Team located at Lockheed Martin Plant 10 in Palmdale, CA.
Job Description
This position is responsible for leading 10+ Represented Technicians performing maintenance, servicing, ground handling and sortie generation activities on NASA's X-59 Low Boom Flight Demonstrator aircraft as a supporting agency to Lockheed Martin's Flight Test Organization. Selected candidate will begin working at Edwards AFB, CA on first shift with a dynamic move to support the 3/12 weekend shift in the near future. Specific responsibilities include:
Leading safe, disciplined, and compliant aircraft ground and flight operations activities to deliver timely, responsive, and exceptional capabilities supporting Flight Test activities under the direction of the Lockheed Martin Flight Test organization.
Leading represented Technicians and adhering to the Collective Bargaining Agreement processes and requirements according to Lockheed Martin's Full Spectrum Leadership model.
Adhering to, and instilling Lockheed Martin's Core Values of: Doing What's Right, Respecting Others, and Performing with Excellence, fostering OneLM's Cultural behaviors of: Collaborate to Win, Accelerate Change, and Hear and Be Heard.
Building and maintaining professional working relationships with teams across the X-59 program including Production Operations, Customer (NASA), Lockheed Martin Program Management, Human Relations, Labor Relations, ESH, Security, Emergency Services, Engineering, Production Planning & Control (PP&C) and Q&MS colleagues.
Managing recruitment, staffing, onboarding, training and work assignment activities, and administering year-round performance, salary, recognition, and disciplinary programs and processes.
Participating in corrective action, nonconformance resolution, maintenance documentation, Stop Work Order, Tool Control, Consumable Control, Aircraft Isolation, FOD Prevention, process Improvement, Lost Tool, and FOD incident activities, processes and functions.

Basic Qualifications:
Aerospace manufacturing, production and/or flightline operations experience.
Aircraft maintenance and sortie (flight) generation technical acumen.
Change Management, Conflict Resolution, Communication, Interpersonal Relationship and Team Building skills.
Ability to travel to Edwards, AFB and support multiple shifts
Desired Skills:
Associate's degree in aviation, manufacturing, management, leadership, or related discipline
3+ years of supervising and leading people.
Experience with Production Operations and/or Flight Test techniques, methods, policies and procedures.
Experience exercising Aircraft "Safe for Flight Release" or "Exceptional Release" functions
Fighter or bomber aircraft maintenance and sortie (flight) generation experience
Experience managing FOD incident, Lost Tool, mishap, and product nonconformance investigations
Experience using Flight Test Service Orders (FTSO) and USAF 781-series Forms
Experience with Microsoft Office Systems, IMDS, G081, ALIS or similar Aircraft Maintenance Management System, Shop Floor Manager (SFM) or similar manufacturing system, Product Data Management (PDM) or similar engineering database, Quality Assurance Documentation System (QADS) or similar system.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
