Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine are inviting an experienced Doctor of Optometry (OD) to join our Department of Ophthalmology in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. The successful candidate will be embedded in a national academic health system focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and education.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive eye exams, manage ocular disease, and co‑manage surgical patients in partnership with ophthalmologists, contributing to excellence in patient care and community service.
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school or college of optometry
North Carolina optometry license (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong clinical skills in primary care optometry and ocular disease management
A patient‑first mindset with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $63.45 – $95.20 per hour.
Base compensation based on qualifications, skills, and experience
Premium pay for shifts, on‑call, and other team duties
Incentive pay for select positions
Annual increases based on performance
