Landscaping Driver/Crew Member

Job Description
MetroGreenscape is hiring an experienced Landscaping Driver/Crew Member.
You will work with a team using hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruners, saws, hedge or brush cutters, and axes. Duties include leaf removal, watering sod, trees, or plants using a portable sprinkler system, hoses, or watering cans, and pruning or trimming trees, shrubs, or hedges. The crew member will pick up and dispose of trash or debris on all properties. You may also operate mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, electric clippers, or sod cutters. We work Monday - Friday plus some weekends as needed.
What You'll Do:
• Loading equipment for daily routes and proper mowing techniques on each property.
• Maintaining grounds includes weeding of flower beds, edging, blowing off hardscape areas, seasonal color installation,
mulch/pine needle installation, and minor irrigation repairs. Operate equipment associated with the job.
• Responsible for communicating the day-to-day accomplishments and improvements to the Foreman and Supervisors.
Job Qualifications:
• Must be able to pass a background, drug screen, and MVR check.
• Needs to be familiar with commercial lawn and maintenance equipment.
• Minimum 1-3 years + experience in Lawn Maintenance
• Excellent communication skills -- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

• Horticulture/landscaping knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work some weekends/evenings and in inclement weather.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including regularly lifting up to
50 pounds, standing, walking, crouching, stooping/kneeling, and reaching with hands
and arms.
