Dog Handler/Kennel Assistant We are a small, well-established pet care provider that is looking for full time and part time pet care associates in the Elgin/Hampshire area. Our canine clients are those that enjoy doggy day care, boarding, walking, playing and engaging with them one on one with their human friends as well as small play groups with their furry friends. We do spend quite a bit of time outdoors with the dogs. Candidate must enjoy the outdoors in all types of weather conditions. We are a service that is available to our clients every day of the year. The following full time and part time positions are available. Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - 32 hours Sunday, Monday, Friday, 12:30 p,m. - 8:30 p.m. - 24 hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday - 10 :30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. - 32 hours The ideal candidate would have previous work experience with caring for pets/dogs in a boarding or doggy day care facility, trustworthy, flexible, reliable, enjoy physical activity and the outdoors in all weather conditions, and enjoy the role of caring for pets and all that is involved with the care of them. The ideal candidate would enjoy pets of all shapes, sizes, and dispositions, have a solid work history, references, and the ability to pass a background check. Communication skills (verbal and written), time management skills, flexibility iin job tasks (cleaning, exercising of the dogs), and live in the Elgin/Hampshire area.
