The Impact You'll Make

As our

Process Engineering Intern

, you'll play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations by helping improve how we work-strengthening safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance through practical process engineering support.

Your impact? You'll help standardize and improve day-to-day production by contributing to process documentation, data-driven improvements, and shop-floor support-enabling more consistent execution and smoother operations for the team.

You'll collaborate closely with Process Engineering and Manufacturing partners and take ownership of key deliverables such as SOP updates, basic process analysis, layout/support documentation, and operational troubleshooting support, helping us move toward a more efficient and reliable future.

What You'll Be Doing

Support a Process Engineer on the factory floor by helping execute and document daily process engineering activities (shadowing, learning, contributing).

Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support process risk documentation such as PFMEA for operational tasks.

Assist with data collection, observations, time studies, and basic statistical analysis to support engineered standards and process improvements.

Help evaluate and improve material handling, workflows, and equipment/workspace layouts using drafting/computer applications.

Provide operational support as needed, including support with operation sequences, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement project tasks.

What We're Looking For

Current Junior or Senior Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering student (or equivalent work experience).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort working with data and documentation.

Ability to work

onsite

in Tallahassee, Florida for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, self-starting approach to learning and contributing.

Ability to meet physical requirements including standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD, Mini Tab experience also preferred, quality tools (problem solve, PFMEA), line design

Exposure to PLC programming concepts, preferably Siemens PLC, through coursework, projects, or hands-on experience

Exposure to industrial automation, robotics, control systems, or SCADA systems

Interest in software-related applications within a manufacturing or industrial environment
