Overview:
Beacon Hill's client in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join their fast-paced logistics and order execution team. This is an entry-level, contract role through September with strong potential to convert to permanent. It's ideal for graduates with a background in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics who are detail-oriented and eager to learn .
Key Responsibilities:
Support accurate and timely processing of customer orders through to final payment
Monitor and resolve issues in the order lifecycle, including shipment exceptions and inventory reconciliation
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage inventory, pricing, and delivery coordination
Maintain and update item-level and order-level data in internal systems
Communicate with vendors, transportation providers, and distribution teams to troubleshoot order flow issues
Assist in improving existing processes to drive efficiency
Meet operational KPIs and ensure high levels of customer service
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or GED
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including light rotational evening and weekend support
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment
Interest in continuous learning and process improvement
Additional Details:
This is a fully onsite role based in Eden Prairie, MN
One week per month may include light evening email monitoring and a few hours of weekend support
