Salary: $2,755.80 - $2,955.80 /wk Join our team as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role, you will perform specialized examinations of the breast to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients at a hospital setting. Minimum Requirements: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography (ARRT-M) certification. Minimum 2 years of mammography technologist experience. Clinical experience in a hospital mammography or breast imaging department preferred. BLS certification required. Experience with Cerner charting system required. Ability to complete a 12-hour orientation period as provided by the facility. Availability to work 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts as described by the client. Ability to meet client cancellation policy expectations (facility may cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment). Assignment Details: Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Days. Shift Pattern: 5x8 day shifts (8-hour days). Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (start date in May, end date in August). Orientation: 12 hours. Charting System: Cerner. Location Highlights. The city is approximately 12 miles from Morro Bay and Morro Rock and about 30 miles from the entrance to Los Padres National Forest, providing coastal and mountain outdoor options within a 30-60 minute drive. Downtown San Luis Obispo includes the historic Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa and the Mission Plaza, located within walking distance of restaurants, galleries, and the Thursday night Farmers' Market. Drive times to popular regional attractions are modest: Paso Robles wine country is about 30-40 minutes northeast, and Pismo Beach is roughly 15-20 minutes south, supporting a coastal or relaxed suburban lifestyle with easy access to wine country and surf. Transit options include regional bus service and access to Highway 101 for commutes to nearby cities such as Santa Barbara (approximately 1.5 hours south) and San Jose (approximately 3 hours north).
