Job Description
Coordinates and delivers patient care using the health care team philosophy practice model. Provides patient teaching and discharge planning. Coordinates activities with ancillary departments and maintains standards of the department and the hospital. Provides the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Previous experience in general duty nursing preferred, but not required.
Demonstrated ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age (adolescents, young adults, middle-aged, and geriatric), limitations, and planned procedures.
Good judgment in delivering patient care; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to function in stressful situations; current CPR certification.
Willingness to rotate shifts, days off, and work areas; may occasionally be required to work overtime.
Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state.
