Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk where you will play a vital role in the production and distribution process. This role involves working in a highly automated environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving tasks.
Responsibilities
Stack, palletize, and organize finished totes as per customer specifications.
Label, hot stamp, and decorate totes according to customer requests.
Perform assembly, decoration, and packaging operations for finished goods.
Conduct visual quality inspections of parts produced at work center.
Identify and address work center, work order, and part quality concerns.
Participate in safety and team meetings to aid in continuous improvement.
Apply FG labels, scan inventory, and move finished goods to the next destination.
Audit inventory to ensure accuracy between physical and transactional locations.
Utilize tablets to print labels with accurate pallet quantities.
Essential Skills
Experience in shipping and receiving, material handling, and machine operating.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Comfortable standing and walking for the duration of a 12-hour shift.
Ability to reach, climb steps, bend, twist, and apply pressure frequently.
Proficiency in inventory control and packing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work effectively in a highly automated environment.
Proficiency in using tablets for inventory and labeling tasks.

Work in a climate-controlled, highly automated facility where robots perform the majority of the work. However, your role is crucial for stacking totes, conducting quality checks, applying labels, and other general labor duties. Steel-toed shoes are required for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ottawa, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
