We are currently seeking qualified Unarmed Security Officers to join our team.Position SummaryThe Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment at assigned sites. This role is primarily focused on access control, visitor management, credential verification, and monitoring site activity to ensure compliance with established security procedures. The Security Officer serves as a visible presence at site access points and plays a key role in protecting personnel, contractors, visitors, and property.The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, visitors, and site leadership. This position requires a proactive approach to site security and a commitment to upholding company standards and client expectations.Primary ResponsibilitiesControl and monitor site access pointsVerify credentials, badges, and identification for employees, contractors, and visitorsEnforce badging, visitor, and escort requirements in accordance with site proceduresManage visitor and vendor check-in and check-out processesMonitor and document deliveries and ensure they are properly routedObserve and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, or policy violationsMaintain accurate activity logs, incident documentation, and shift reportsCommunicate clearly and professionally with supervisors, site leadership, employees, vendors, and visitorsSupport emergency response procedures when requiredMaintain a professional presence and demeanor at all timesRequired QualificationsValid Arizona Guard Card, or the ability to obtain oneHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as neededStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer proficiency, including experience with reporting systems, access control platforms, and electronic logsAbility to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periodsDependable, punctual, and detail-orientedAbility to maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all timesPreferred ExperiencePrevious security experience, particularly in construction site security, access control, or gate securityExperience working with access control or badging systemsExperience managing visitors, vendors, or deliveriesFamiliarity with large-scale or high-traffic job sitesData center or critical infrastructure experience preferredCustomer service or site coordination experience preferredPhysical RequirementsConsistent attendance and punctualityAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to patrol indoor and outdoor areas throughout the shiftAbility to lift and/or move up to 25 poundsFrequent bending, stooping, and crouchingAbility to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, depending on site needsAbility to remain alert, attentive, and focused throughout the shiftBenefitsPay: DOE ($19–$21/hour)Medical plans (PPO or HDHP)PTO plan and 6 paid holidays per year401(k) Safe Harbor program with up to 4% dollar-for-dollar matchBoot reimbursement for field employees$1,500 annual personal development reimbursement for all employeesVeteran Support: Military Leave ProgramHow to Apply:If you are interested in this position and meet the qualifications, please submit your resume, cover letter, and salary expectations via the ADP portal.
