Job Description

Coordinator who will provide administrative and student support to the Master of Science (MS) program in Addiction Psychology. The MS in Addiction Psychology program pairs state-of-the-art research from internationally recognized experts in addictions with clinical expertise from licensed psychologists and licensed addiction counselors with decades of experience providing addiction treatment. This program prepares students to pursue state licensure and become addiction counselors. This role acts as a key contributor to promoting and supporting student retention and advises students in making timely progress toward degree completion through a range of in-person and virtual academic counseling and support strategies. A strong candidate will be comfortable and adept at providing guidance and program-related administrative support to students, faculty, and administration.
Position Salary Range : $51,500 - $64,400 per year; DOE
Essential Duties

Review and maintain student records using internal and external systems (iPOS, DARS, Graduate Application Review System, Microsoft Office, Peoplesoft, Google sheets, Canvas, Student Success Site, Airtable, etc.), provide data as requested.
Respond to inquiries about the MS program and hold information meetings with students (both 1-on-1 as requested and larger group informational sessions) in person, via phone, email, zoom, classroom visits, and orientation programs.
Monitor the MS Addiction Psychology application process and ensure students move through the pipeline within the given deadlines of the office and university.
Advise MS Addiction Psychology students and meet with them regularly to ensure accurate understanding of academic policies, proper course scheduling, proper credit sharing if applicable, progress toward completion, graduation requirements, address academic issues, assist with committee requests, submitting the iPOS, etc.
Hold orientation sessions for all incoming students.
Assist with material preparation for the annual UOEEE program assessment process by compiling forms and other data for Program Directors. Assist with entering Program Director evaluations in the assessment portal.
Assist with review of the information available to students, including monitoring and helping with text updates on the website, Grad Success site, Graduate Programs Handbook, Graduate Catalog review, email templates, and other process guides, etc. to ensure degree information is accurate and consistent, and that department is properly providing students with the latest information.
Assist with the grade submission process at the end of each semester by entering grades for coursework; ensure transcript accuracy in grade changes for graduating students
Monitor course availability and enrollment to provide input on course development and course scheduling and faculty assignments.
Prepare budgets proposals and recommendations and establishes budget control system for controlling expenditures; controls expenditures in accordance with budget allocations; recommends equipment and resources for program.
Prepares periodic reports, financial statements and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
Develops, complies, and writes communications and promotional literature for distribution such as newsletters, brochures or flyers; coordinates process from development through printing and distribution.
Interacts and maintains liaison with students, faculty, staff and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
